3 most important topics in choosing a wedding location

After the celebrations, changing Facebook status and dozens of phone calls it’s time to start diving in and planning your wedding day. There is no doubt that there are quite a few small and big tasks on the way to this day, such as wedding dress design, photographer selection or planning your invitation. On the other hand, most of these tasks depend on one big and very important decision: the place where everything will happen. So before you start measuring suits and choosing honeymoon destinations, here are three important tips for choosing the ideal location, which will make the entire event truly exciting and special.

1 – The preferred geographic target

Before you start scanning halls and event gardens, start with a slightly more basic question. It’s time to narrow the radius and understand which areas you prefer to marry and what is really irrelevant to you. If you live in Tel Aviv you can search for a wedding hall in Tel Aviv, not in Be’er Sheva or Haifa. It is recommended that you take into account your needs, but not only. If your family comes from the north and you still live near the university in Be’er Sheva, try to find a place for everyone to be a little more convenient to reach. Guests arrive especially for you, at least provide them with a convenient route on the way to the event.

2 – The ideal concept for you

There are couples who really want a huge wedding with hundreds of guests and huge chandeliers that fall from the ceiling, and there are those who prefer an intimate event with the immediate family and with the best friends in the heart of the forest. Each choice is great if it’s right for you, and before you scan halls or event gardens you should know what really suits you. So you will reduce options in a timely manner, you will be much more focused and save yourself mostly precious time. You can reach places for small or large events (depending on your preference), places that offer an event in nature or a wedding by the lake. You know what the scenery will look like in your event, and that’s exactly what you can find.

3 – The little details that make the difference

You have narrowed the radius and you are focused on the Tel Aviv area and the surrounding area. You have decided on a small event and have already found several halls or event gardens that meet both of these needs. So far everything seems simple but here are some very small and important details, and quite a few of them. Try to get there in the evening (assuming your wedding is an evening wedding) and, if possible, coordinate a tour on the day of the wedding. This allows you to know how the place looks at the time your event takes place and formulate your own ideas about a design that is more suited to your personal style. You can also taste the dishes, be impressed by the design and understand if you feel you have reached the right place.
